Ron Haviv

Ron Haviv is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker, award-winning photojournalist, and co-founder of the prestigious VII Photo Agency and The VII Foundation. Having covered more than 25 conflicts in over 100 countries, Haviv brings more than three decades of world-class expertise in global affairs, visual journalism, and media strategy to our Advisory Board. His critically acclaimed photography has been exhibited in premier global institutions, including the Louvre, the United Nations, and the Council on Foreign Relations, and his insights routinely guide major international media outlets.

Yllka Fetahaj

An award-winning visual artist, curator, and educator, Prof. Yllka Fetahaj (PhD) brings over a decade of expertise in graphic design, photography, and creative direction to the FOTOIST Board. As the founder of Starklly, a long-serving National Graphic Presentation Officer for the OSCE, and an Assistant Professor of Photography at the University of Prishtina, her multi-disciplinary leadership bridges institutional communication with contemporary visual arts.

Vlora Demiri

An art historian, curator, and university lecturer, Prof. Vlora Demiri (PhD) brings a wealth of academic and regional expertise to the photographic society. As a lecturer at South East European University and director of the Center for Multimedia and Art KULT, her curatorial practice treats photography as a powerful document of memory, identity, and historical narrative across North Macedonia, Kosovo, Türkiye and Albania.

Rreze Xhaferi

Bringing a unique intersection of technology, literature, and holistic wellness through photography to the FOTOIST Board, Rreze Xhaferi (PhD) is an engineer, education technology developer, and author. Her diverse professional background as photographer is enriched by her practice as a quantum healer and certified QHHT hypnotherapist, offering the board an innovative approach to creative development, structural strategy, and human-centric programming.

Ardian Isufi

A prominent contemporary visual artist, Prof. Ardian Isufi (PhD) commands a distinguished multidisciplinary practice spanning painting, graphic art, and large-scale public installations across Europe and the United States. As the former Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Tirana’s University of Arts, his academic authority matches a studio practice known for challenging societal narratives and confronting complex geopolitical issues.

Afrim Kotori

Art lover and philanthropist Dr. Afrim Kotori is a prominent Kosovar physician and clinical biochemist based in Pristina, a highly recognized specialist in clinical biochemistry and is a pioneering figure in assisted reproduction.  Alongside his medical practice, he is a passionate supporter of the cultural scene, contributing to local philanthropy and actively backing local art festivals that enrich the community and promote regional artists.
